1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files or technical identifiers stored or read by a browser when a website is used.

2. Strictly necessary cookies

Cookies or technical mechanisms may be used where essential for:

• website operation;
• security;
• technical management of requests;
• protection against abuse;
• retention of essential preferences.

Technical necessity

As a rule, these mechanisms do not require consent where they are strictly necessary to provide a service requested by the user.

3. Analytics, advertising and third-party cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand website usage and performance, and Google Ads to measure campaigns and conversions, including successfully submitted contact requests. These services are integrated through Google tag AW-16793807429. Optional technologies are activated only after consent. On a first visit, before acceptance, or if you reject them, the Google tag is not loaded. If an acceptance has been saved, that choice is applied on subsequent visits.

We apply Google Consent Mode to all visitors, including those in the European Economic Area. The ad_storage, analytics_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization settings default to denied. Accepting grants ad_storage, analytics_storage and ad_user_data; ad_personalization always remains denied because we use these technologies for measurement rather than personalized advertising. Rejecting or withdrawing consent denies all four settings. After acceptance, Google may use cookies and interaction data for measurement. The conversion event implemented in the form does not include the completed form fields.

4. Managing cookies

You can accept or reject using the banner and change or withdraw your choice through Cookie preferences, available on every page. Your choice is saved in browser local storage under assisteknica-consent-v1 until you change it or clear that storage. If rejection cannot be saved there, we use a rejection guard in session storage and the page URL. This guard takes precedence over an old acceptance. If both stores are unavailable, rejection can only be guaranteed while the marker remains in the URL; an independent visit without it may require a new choice.

Rejecting optional cookies does not prevent essential website functions, including submitting the contact form. Withdrawal saves the rejection, immediately denies all four consent settings and blocks further form conversions. Pages that have already activated the Google tag reload to end its execution, keeping it blocked after reloading. Withdrawal also applies in other tabs when the browser communicates the local storage change. Reloading may discard unsent form fields or interrupt a submission in progress, including in another tab. Requests already received by the server may continue to be processed. Withdrawal does not erase previously sent data, undo network requests already started or guarantee deletion of existing cookies. You can delete cookies in your browser settings.
